• 1. Tickets must be purchased prior to rodeo participation.
  2. All Gulf and coastal waters are open to fishing.
  3. Fishing begins at 12:01 a.m. Friday, May 23, 2008 and ends at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, May 25, 2008 at
  Sand Dollar Marina, Grand Isle.
  4. Fish will be weighed at the following time at Sand Dollar Marina:
  5/23/07 - 12:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
  5/24/07 - 12:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
  5/25/07 - 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
  5. Participants responsible for disposing of their fish.
  6. Weight of the fish will be in pounds, to the 10th. division.
  7. In the event of a tie the first fish weighed wins.
  8. Rodeo officials reserve the right to open all fish for inspection.
  9. All fish must be taken on a hook and line.
  10. Mutilated, frozen, old, shot or otherwise unsportsmanlike catches will not be accepted for
  competition.
  11. Gaffs, meat hooks and persuaders are allowed.
  12. When weighing in a fish a participant must present his/her ticket. The name of the person
  and boat must be legible.
  13. BEST ANGLER AWARD - Determined by highest number of points. BEST BOAT AWARD -
  Determined by highest number of points. TIE BREAKER - In the event of a tie for best angle or
  boat, the total fish weight will determine winner. (The “Most Unusual Fish” does not count towards
  BEST ANGLER or BEST BOAT point total.)
  14. All participants upon registration agree to abide by the rules and regulations of the rodeo.
  15. The decision of the weigh master is final.
  16. Weigh master will weigh only those fish considered in contention.
